The American Chemical Society (ACS) announces the appointment of Professor Jihong Yu, the director of International Center of Future Science, as Executive Editor of its flagship journal, the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). Prof. Yu’s appointment begins in 2021.
Prof. Yu is a world-renowned expert in inorganic synthesis, nanoscience, and solid state chemistry. She is the Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of TWAS, Foreign Member of Academia Europaea, the director of International Center of Future Science, Jilin University and Professor of State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, College of Chemistry, Jilin University. She was the Associate Editor of Chemical Science (2012-2020) and joined JACS as an Executive Editor in 2021.
