Biography
Prof. Xiaolong Wang is from the college of electronic science and engineering, Jilin University.
He received his B.S. degree in Communication Engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2005, and M.S. degree from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Changchun, China, in 2008, and Ph. D. degree from University of Toyama, Toyama, Japan, in 2012. From Nov. 2012 to Jun. 2013, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Art, Science and Technology Center for Cooperative Research, Kyushu University, Japan. From Jul. 2013 to Dec. 2015, he was a Researcher in the Plasma Research Center, University of Tsukuba, Japan. From Jan. 2016, he was an Assistant Professor in Department of Electronic Engineering, Saitama University, Japan. Now, he is a full Professor in the College of Electronic Science and Engineering, Jilin University, China.
His main research interests include microwave/millimeter-wave system design, passive component design and optimization techniques. He has co-authored over 50 research papers including IEEE Trans. Microw. Theory Techn., IEEE Trans. Circuits Syst., IEEE Trans. Compon., Packag. Manuf. Technol., IEEE Trans. Geosci. Remote Sens., etc.; obtained 5 authorized Chinese Invention Patents; he serves as the TPC member, special session organizer and session chair of several international conferences (Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference, IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium, International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Symposium, etc.). He was the recipient of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Japan Young Engineer Award and ChangBai Mountain Scholars Program.
