Biography
Hailong Jia is an associate professor at School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jilin University, China. He is also affiliated to International Center of Future Science (Jilin University) and The State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control (Jilin University). He received a Bachelor degree from Northeastern University in 2012 and obtained a master degree from Northeastern University in 2014. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2018 from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway). Since 2019, he has been a, associate professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jilin University. He was awarded the "Jilin University Excellent Young Teacher Training Program" (key training stage) in 2019. His research interests include microstructure control and advanced manufacturing technology of high performance light alloys. He has published a series of papers in well recognized journals, including Acta Materialia, Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, Materials & Design, etc.
