  • Introduction 

    The new concept materials research team is committed to the research of key common scientific issues such as the design, preparation, characterization and application of new materials, focusing on the research and development of new materials such as metamaterial and meta-surfaces, MXene, and semiconductors, and committed to their applications in new energy, flexible wearable devices, and other aspects, including the development of electrode materials for alkali metal batteries, aluminum ion batteries, and magnesium ion batteries; By utilizing the interaction between MXene materials and organic compounds, flexible sensor devices and their applications in the field of wearable medical devices were studied; Design, synthesis and application of new semiconductor materials; Research on the characteristics of fully dielectric planar structures (meta-surfaces) and design new nanophotonic devices.


    Research interest

    1. Clean energy, energy storage and energy-saving technology:

    We are mainly committed to the development of green and clean energy, including the systematic development and research of alkali metal battery, aluminum ion battery and magnesium ion battery systems, including the preparation of electrode materials and the optimization of battery performance.

    2. Flexible energy storage and sensor devices:

    We have developed a series of flexible sensors based on MXene/polymer composites, including flexible gas sensors, flexible pressure sensors, flexible temperature sensors, etc., and realized the integration of energy supply and sensing through integrated design.

    3. New semiconductor materials with large absorption coefficient, high carrier mobility, tunable band gap width, large exciton diffusion distance, long carrier lifetime and low defect state density are designed and synthesized, which have the advantages of flexibility, light weight, complete and stretchable, and meet the market demand of low cost and easy preparation. Develop high stability and performance optoelectronic/radiation detectors; Develop optical communication, imaging, metrology instruments, etc.

    4. Research on the Characteristics of All Dielectric Planar Structure (Meta-surface). Study the Mie resonance characteristics of a single dielectric particle and utilize the optical properties of a novel low loss all dielectric meta-surface containing active and nonlinear media, including reflection, transmission, scattering, quality factor, bound states in the continuums, topological states, etc; Utilize the discovered special properties to find the optimal configuration and new nanophotonic device designs.
