    Prof. Jijing Xu is from the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, the International Center of Future Science, and the College of Chemistry, Jilin University.
    He received his BS and Ph.D. (Supervisor: Shucai Gan) in Applied Chemistry from Jilin University, China in 2006 and 2011, respectively, and then worked as a postdoctoral associate with Professor Xinbo Zhang at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) during the period of 2011–2013. Afterward, he worked as an Assistant and Associate Professor at CIAC, CAS from 2013 to 2017. Since December, 2017, he has worked as a full Professor and academic leader at the College of Chemistry, Jilin University, China.
    His research interests are in the development of advanced inorganic energy materials for high energy density secondary batteries. Great progress has been made in the development of key materials, prototype devices and performance evaluation for secondary batteries. He has published more than 40 SCI papers with more than 4000 total citations (H-index=29), including Nat. Commun. (2), Nat. Energy (1), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (1), Adv. Mater. (2), Energy Environ. Sci. (1), and ACS Cent. Sci. (1) as the first author. One of paper has been cited over 360 times, and 12 papers are evaluated as highly cited papers by ESI. Besides, he has been granted about 8 National defense/invention patents, and also received “Young Science & Technology Award of Jilin Province”.
