    Biography

    Assoc. Prof. Yuning Zhang is from the Key Laboratory of Organ Regeneration and Transplantation of the Ministry of Education, Jilin University.

    He received his BS (2008) from Xi’an Jiaotong University, MS (2011) from Uppsala University and PhD (2015) from Karolinska Institutet respectively. Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow(2015-2019) and later as a researcher(2019-2021) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He has been an Associate Professor in the First Hospital, Jilin University since 2021.

    His main research interest is in the designed synthesis and application of dendritic polymer materials in biomedical therapies. He has co-authored over 30 research papers including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Funct. Mater., Small, etc.; applied 1 PCT Patent; co-edited 1 book.
