Biography
Prof. Cailing Chen is from the International Center of Future Science, Jilin University.
She received her BS (2013) and PhD (2018) from Jilin University. After PhD graduated, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow first at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) during 2018-2022, and then was promoted to Research Scientist in 2022. In March 2025, she joined the International Center of Future Science at Jilin University as a tenure-track Professor. Her research primarily focuses on the synthesis and applications (catalysis, separation, adsorption) of porous nanomaterials, as well as high-resolution transmission electron microscopy imaging of electron-beam-sensitive materials. In recent years, she has published over 100 high-impact papers in leading international journals such as Science, Nature Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc., and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., with more than 6,000 citations and an h-index of 49.
